3 Ways to Show Your Wearable How Much It Means to You

Fun Guy Friday: Your weekly dose of fitness satire.

It’s a match made in heaven -- the gym rat and their wearable. These happy new couples parade around the club in the honeymoon stage of their relationship, always touching and completely forgetting that they were brought together through a purchase.

But what about those of us who’ve hit a rough patch? Maybe you’ve “forgotten” your wearable at home one too many times; maybe you’ve told your wearable to get a job -- to stop sitting around all day tracking your movements. We’ve all been there.

Don't sweat it, you just need to show your metallic partner a little more appreciation. Here are some ideas:

1. Take it out to dinner

Take out againYou’ve been with your wearable for a while now and things just feel sort of… stale. A romantic gesture like a night out on the town is a great way to re-ignite that spark that brought you two together in the first place. It’ll finally have a reason to wear that new band you bought for its birthday.

2. Buy your wearable its own wearable

You know your wearable loves fitness, so what better gift to give it than its very own wearable? It’ll be able to track all of its workouts every time that it’s tracking your workouts. Your wearable’s new wearable will have everyone looking differently at your wearable. It’ll be the talk of the town.

3. Get Married

It hears when you tell everyone how much you love your new wearable all the time, but you never show it. What says “I love you” more than lifelong commitment? Go to that park where you guys first ran together, get down on one knee and ask it to stay on your wrist forever. Nothing fixes a rocky relationship like getting married.
