Orangetheory to Release New Mobile App Powered by Netpulse [Press Release]

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — July 14, 2015 — Netpulse, the #1 provider of branded club mobile apps, announced today that Orangetheory Fitness is its newest customer. Orangetheory’s new app will include core features like fitness challenges and class schedules, along with heart rate monitoring and point- tracking system of minutes spent in the orange and red zones.

Orangetheory Fitness is the one-of-a-kind, energizing group personal training workout that is sweeping the nation. Backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), Orangetheory Fitness is a 60-minute heart-rate monitored training program broken into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training. Participants burn an average of 900 calories including after-burn, using a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowing machines, TRX® suspension training and free weights. Orangetheory has over 225 studios in 28 states, and more than 500 franchise licenses awarded in and outside of the United States. In addition to its newest international location in South America, the brand currently has studios in Canada and the U.K. and has signed a master agreement to bring the concept into Australia.
