#IHRSA2016 Booth Spotlight: Life Fitness

lifefitness-np_1.pngToday’s #IHRSA2016 spotlight is on innovator and industry veteran Life Fitness. Life Fitness has created fitness solutions for trainers and clubs for over 45 years. After inventing the Lifecycle exercise bike, the first electronic piece of workout equipment, Life Fitness has pursued their mission of keeping people active with a wide range of cardio, strength and group training products.

Netpulse partners with Life Fitness to integrate QR code workout tracking into our mobile app platform. Life Fitness cardio machines generate QR codes for members to scan with their smartphones before or after their workout. Scanning the code automatically saves your workout data. It’s one of the easiest ways to record all of your important data including distance, time and calories burned.

There are other user-friendly ways that Life Fitness machines integrate with our mobile app. Their cardio machines with touch screens enable users to login with their xID account that tracks and logs workout information. Members can easily view their workout history right on their smartphones. Life Fitness machines are also compatible with our xCapture feature. Members can snap a picture of their end-of-workout result screen and the results are seamlessly saved to their workout history.

Life Fitness showed off many of their new innovative inventions at #IHRSA2016. They unveiled the Discover SE3 Tablet Console, which features a new user interface with Bluetooth connectivity and access to streaming services such as Netflix or Pandora Radio. The console also offers apps like ESPN, Youtube and BBC. Life Fitness also introduced their new Hammer HD Athletic Training Rack and their new SYNRGY equipment.
