What to Expect From Netpulse at #IHRSA2016

Untitled.jpgWith the IHRSA trade show just a week away, it’s probably safe to say that all of us at Netpulse can’t wait for the event to finally kick off. The four-day event takes place March 21-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The banner message for the Netpulse booth this year is that “Fitness is going mobile.”

The old way of attracting and acquiring new members are quickly fading away, and our mobile app represents the transformation the industry landscape is experiencing. For members, our mobile app helps streamline processes like bringing in guests or registering for classes. For operators, it gives them the ability to use mobile marketing strategies, an innovation that will forever change how fitness clubs help their businesses grow.

Introducing Mobile Marketing

With our world becoming increasingly mobile-first, mobile marketing leverages the fact that consumers spend much of their time looking at their mobile devices, and opens up new communications channels to help reach and attract them to your business. Instead of expensive direct mail campaigns, prospective members can be reached through a personalized text message. Instead of hanging signs all around your club, you can send members special offers via push notifications. And instead of having all the technologies that make up your club (wearables, billing systems, CRM) work separately, mobile marketing unifies them while helping your members forge a deeper connection with your club.

A Versatile Mobile Platform

We are also excited to show off the versatility of our platform, as we will be featured in the booths of Life Fitness, Matrix Fitness, ABC Financial and ASF Payment Solutions. Our mobile app integrates with all of the technologies they offer, making it seamless for clubs to make use of our platform. In the case of Life Fitness and Matrix Fitness, they will also be pitching our app alongside their connected cardio equipment which only further establishes us as one of the industry leaders in fitness tech.

Along with our own booth and the features with our partners, we’re going to be hosting a “Tech Takes IHRSA” challenge with the prize of a brand new Fitbit Flex. All IHRSA attendees who take a photo at the Netpulse booth, like our Instagram or Facebook page and post the photo to either platform using #Netpulse and #IHRSA2016 will be eligible to win.
